Text Analysis
“Secret!”
AI-powered text analysis model combining sentiment analysis and named entity recognition to evaluate emotional intensity and extract key information from unstructured text. React interface to visualize the results.
I build full-stack products where the interface is part of the engineering.
I'm Yailan Bordas, a software engineer in Miami, FL. I studied Computer Science at Florida International University and spent the last two years building across the stack — from rate limiters and GDPR-compliant account flows at a startup, to NLP interfaces at American Express.
I care about interfaces that feel considered: type that earns its weight, data that explains itself, and tools that disappear once you learn them. Most of what I make starts as a question about how something should feel, and ends in code that answers it.
Open to full-stack or frontend roles — especially teams that take the interface as seriously as the architecture.

“For all the trading experts and nerds.”
Bloomberg-terminal-style insider trading dashboard. Fetches SEC EDGAR filings and Yahoo Finance data, enriches via LLM, and surfaces real-time Form 4 and STOCK Act disclosures for political and executive insiders.

“Where you are right now, silly!”
Single-page portfolio built with Next.js 16, React 19, and TypeScript. Custom OKLCH color token system, semantic accessibility throughout, and a prefers-reduced-motion media query that disables all transitions site-wide.
